Purpose: reflect and evaluate the completed projects of the past period to harvest lessons learned and understand priorities for the future

Outcome: meeting notes with lessons learned, decisions and next action steps

Why: reflection is a key step in the learning process, so it increases our focus and effectiveness in the upcoming period

Frequency (full-time team): once every 2 or 3 months

Duration: 2 -3 hours

Preparations: team members list the projects which reached the “completed” stage during the past period (since the previous project retroactive)

Opening (3 - 5 min)

Goal: Help everyone arrive and align expectations for the meeting

Facilitator opens the meeting:

Explain meeting structure and mention agenda items

A moment of grounding

Help us tune into the greater mission and vision of why we are creating
