The importance of regenerative practices cannot be overstated, and one of the most promising ones is the doughnut economy approach. While the tools provided by ReFI are ready and functioning, there is a need to improve the user experience for tech-unsavvy humans to be able to onboard themselves.

To address this issue, an online marketplace called localscale.org has been developed. It features a map with a user-friendly interface that inspires trust. Additionally, SEEDS has provided tools that allow for local currencies to be minted with the EOS Technology at no cost and can also offer bridges between local and global regenerative economies.

However, despite the availability of these resources, the user experience still needs to be improved. The goal is to make it as straightforward and intuitive as possible, akin to the ease of use associated with Web2 products. This will encourage more people to participate and take advantage of the benefits of regenerative economies and the ReFi space.

Regenerative villages and land-based projects are asking for local currencies to establish circular economies. This is because local currencies can help to promote economic activity within a community and reduce dependence on larger, more centralized currencies. With the ReFi tools, it is now possible to create local currencies easily and efficiently. However, once a new currency has been created, it can be difficult to find businesses that accept it, if a supporting map and marketplace is missing.

To address this issue, we have been working with local projects in Ecuador, Colombia, and Africa to create a map of farmers and food vendors who are willing to accept the local regenerative currency. This will make it easier for individuals and businesses to find places where they can spend their currency and support local, sustainable agriculture. In addition, we are developing a trusted marketplace where individuals can exchange goods and services using the local currency and a global marketplace for remote services.

While we are excited about these developments, we recognize that the user experience (UX) of our platform still needs significant improvements. We are actively working to address these issues and ensure that our platform is as user-friendly as possible, with the ultimate goal of promoting local economies and regenerative agriculture around the world.
